I posted a picture earlier this year of me abroad the Emirates A380 in the business class suite. I received many comments & email asking me how I managed to afford business class. Well the truth is I can't.
A few years ago, when I started to travel to Asia quite frequently, I signed up to the Emirates Skywards Progamme. The Skywards progamme allows you to gain air miles for each journey that you take with Emirates.
Miles can be spent on things such as flight upgrades, luxury hotel stays and even tickets to sports events.
I bought economy tickets but 24-48 hours before check in, I used my miles to upgrade to business & paid a small fee of £73.00 to be able to upgrade my ticket for one leg to Business. Business Class is an amazing experience.
Before getting onto the flight, I was able to use the Birmingham Airport Emirates Business class lounge, the lounge offers a wide selection of food + drink.
The benefits on board in business is that you get a full reclining bed (1/2 way through the flight, the crew come round & make the bed for you with a mattress), a seat all to yourself (no worrying about who is going to set next to you!) a full widescreen TV, a mini seat bar and a nice selection of food served with real cutlery.
The best part of the Emirates A380 has to be the bar in the back of the plane. Yes, that is correct a bar in the plane, how amazing is that?
I definitely recommend signing up to any airline frequent flier program, you may not get an upgrade straight away but over time, it will be worth it!
Google have released a new travel app called "Google Trips" that can take the stress out of planning a trip.

You can download it via the Google Play Store and iTunes.
I will be away in Myanmar from the 21st March till 7th April. Myanmar is a completely new destination for me, so I am very excited to explore & see what Myanmar has in store. It will take almost 24 hours for me to get there!
I will be posting on Instagram & will also be blogging where possible.
My cousin is something of a inspiration to me.
Back in 2011, he & his wife picked up & went travelling for two years. He would always post amazing photos & videos of his travels and this inspired me to go travelling.
Once he had returned home he set on making a trailer using footage captured over two years.
His stories/experience makes me more motivated to travel more & see this beautiful world of ours.
Below is that trailer.
Merry Christmas & apologies for the silence on the blog.
I am currenlty in Abu Dhabi enjoying some winter sun, the temperatue is 25c & I couldn't be happier. I am just typing this up quickly whilst enjoying a beer. I have lots to post up in the New Year so stay tuned!

In Abu Dhabi, I had the pleasure of visiting the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. This photo was taken in one of the outer courtyards. I love the way that the pillars are reflecting in the water.
You are able to take a tour of the whole Mosque which is free of charge & the guides are very informative & knowledgeable.

Hello Everyone! I am back from my USA/Canada trip & I had the best time ever! I made so many amazing friends & saw some great sights.
The highlight of my trip would have to be the cold nights I spent camping, am I crazy? Yes! It was an experience that's for sure. You can't beat sitting round a warm toasty fire drinking beers.
Below are some images from my trip, some were taken on my SLR & some were taken on smart phones.
In less than 12 hours, I will be jumping on a plane for a two week USA/Canada Road Trip.
Whilst on my road trip I will visit, New York, Washington, Allegheny National Forest, Niagara Falls, Toronto, Algonquin, Montreal, Boston, Cape Cod & finally back to New York! Phew, it will be a busy two weeks! But, I can't wait, looking forward to meeting some amazing new people & seeing some new sites!
Living accommodations will consist of hostels & camping on road sides. I will be posting photos on Instagram so do follow me there to keep up to date with where I am.
For now, I've got an early morning flight so I am going to head the bed, but first destination New York.
